Scope of Works
Freedom Constructions was engaged to complete a complex residential renovation involving significant structural works within a steep, restricted access hillside environment. The project included extensive manual excavation beneath the existing split level dwelling, engineered underpinning, reinforced concrete works, and the installation of an internal waterproofing system where conventional methods were not feasible.
Construction was undertaken in a densely vegetated rainforest setting with severe access limitations, requiring innovative solutions such as temporary structural modifications, manual material handling, and line pumped concrete placement. Close coordination with engineers and suppliers ensured structural integrity and material performance.
The completed works delivered a new butler's pantry beneath the existing home, a fully renovated kitchen, new lower level flooring, a pool accessible toilet, and a custom outdoor barbecue area, significantly improving the functionality, flow, and usability of the residence.
